I have a side business run out of my house, In the Business income section do I put the Gross Income (Total for all my sales, Not actual profit) for the year?

You will enter your total sales under Business Income, then any expenditures under Business Expenses section. After entering the information, the program will calculate your Net Profit on Schedule C.
