I have a photography business that I started in 2016. Only one sale, but I have some expenses. What form do I need to fill out for my personal return

I had some of my work printed out to show and some website expenses.

You are self-employed and you need to report this income as self-employment income.

To report this income in TurboTax, open your tax return and follow these steps:

• Click on Federal Taxes, then on Wages and Income
• Under All Income, locate the Self-Employment section
• Click Show more and click Start next to Income and Expenses (see attached screenshot).

As you have expenses to claim against this income, you'll need to upgrade to TurboTax Self-Employed.
