I have a LLC Partnership that has went through the dissolving steps with the final being filing a zero activity 1065. Do I need to issue W-2s to the partners?

I have a LLC Partnership that has went through the dissolving steps with the final being filing a zero activity 1065. Do I need to issue W-2s to the partners?
You will need to complete a final form 1065 and provide each member with a K-1. Both the 1065 and K-1 should indicate that they are final.

No. Partners are not employees. But why would you think you should be issuing W-2s?

I went with an accounting site to handle our taxes last year and I'm trying to cut them out this year. Sorry, you are correct about the W-2s, I meant Schedule K1.
