You may need to delete K-1 schedule to clear it from your program and then re-enter the information as follows:
1. Choose the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar while working on your return
2. Choose Tools
3. Choose the Delete a form option under Other Helpful links
4. Find the errant K-1 schedule in the list and delete it
I did try deleting the forms. That didn’t help. Then I even tried starting over, but for some reason it keeps going back to the question. The K1 does have multiple income boxes checked in and last year I remember I had to enter each income stream separately. But this seems to be a software issue - instead of saving the first stream and adding the next, it is looping into the same question. The previous info is not saved. Any ideas on how to bypass or fix?
It is true if you have ordinary income in box 1 on a partnership schedule K-1 and rental income in box 2 you can't enter both of those on the same K-1 entry. You have to make two separate K-1 entries, one reporting the rental transactions and another reporting the ordinary income entries. When asked the question if you received the K-1 schedule in 2025, you can say "no", but then later enter the 2025 K-1 information.
