I have a 1099MISC where I was a contractor and I had expenses, but I don't own my own business. How can I enter those expenses?

When I went through TurboTax it was asking me questions like I own the company, when I was actually a contractor (now Employee). I don't own the company I received my 1099-Misc from.

When TurboTax asks questions about your business (as a sole proprietorship), it is asking about your business as a contractor, and not about the company which paid you. You can enter your name as the business name and your address as the business's address.
