Typically, you’d delete the form that the line item was on.
To do so in TurboTax Online, open your return in TurboTax and:
Select Pick up where I left off, if that’s on the screen
In the menu on the left, select Tax Tools, then Tools.
In the Tool Center pop-up, select Delete a form.
Select Delete next to the form related to the line item and follow the onscreen instructions.
If this will be too intrusive, please provide more information on the line item – where you entered it, what form, what section of TurboTax. A little more detail would be helpful.
On PA STATE TAX RETURN, It won't let me file electronically saying on form PA-40 GROSS COMPENSATION WORKSHEET W-2 list item:
"you may NOT enter any more W-2s than you have entered on your Federal return. Please delete all the entries on any extra line items you may have entered."
When checking, I see some income source item called "UNTITLED". It seems to be some "business" that I don't have. I only have (1) W-2 from US Military (Active Duty)
I never entered this "untitled" thing.
I cannot find where to delete it.
I have tried numerous times.
I am going around in circles now.
Please assist
1. Where did this come from if I never entered it?
2. How to delete it?
To clarify, what TurboTax program are you using? (Online or Desktop)
Are you able to go to Wages & Income, scroll through and look at the entries?
I actually DELETE the PA return and started over.
That resolved the problem
Who knows how it got there?
Whatever!
