How to enter code TP and Gross OT in box 12 of my W2?

I got Turbotax deluxe and am working on my 2025 tax return. I have code "TP" and "Gross OT" in box 12a and 12b of my W2. However there are no those options in my Turbotax. How should I enter those? Many thanks.

You first need to determine what the income associated with those codes is. "Gross OT" is likely your overtime pay. You can leave that entry off of your W-2 input. On a screen in TurboTax after you enter your W-2 information, you will see "Let's check for other situations" and one of the options will be "Overtime." Check that option and you will be prompted to enter your overtime pay and will be asked some questions about it.

I'm not sure what "TP" means, so you may need to ask your employer about that and post another question here so we can help you with that.

According to my Google AI search  (note it indicates a 2026 W-2)

_________________________________________

"Box 12 New Codes (Draft 2026 Form W-2):
  • TT (Qualified Overtime): Total amount of qualified overtime compensation.
  • TP (Qualified Tips): Total amount of qualified tips.
  • TA (Optional): Employer contributions to a "Trump account". "

......., the employer may have jumped the gun...some other posts have indicated those codes were going to be used this year, but may have been delayed.

Not sure if it's an "Optional" coding for 2025 or just not to be used.

meanwhile, a bunch of folks with those codes in box 12 are left hanging.
