How do I show my notary fees exceed my profit?

Include the notary income with the other income for that business. When you're done with that business entries, enter notary public, se tax in the find (search) box. Select Jump to notary public, se tax in the Top Answer box.  Follow the program prompts to exempt your notary fees from SE tax.

Notary fees are separate from expenses and are to be taken off of the Schedule SE not the Schedule C.

notary fees are not the same as expenses.  I have $6800 in profit, but 8400 in notary fees and don't know where to show this

This comment assumes I am using a TT program, which I am not. I am doing this by hand
