How do I record Estimated Tax Paid during the year on my return?

To enter, edit or delete estimated taxes paid (Federal, State, Local) -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
On Estimates, click on the start or update button

Estimated tax payments that you paid in towards your 2025 federal or state taxes will be entered in the Deductions & Credits Section of TurboTax. Follow the instructions below:

1. Go to the Deductions & Credits Section 
2. Select Estimates and Other Income Taxes Paid
3.  Select Start under  estimated tax payments
4. Select Start next to the type of estimated tax payments that you made.
