How do I link my Schedule E for Royaltie to my K-1 on TT?

In TurboTax Deluxe (download to Mac) I have simply answered "Yes" in the question sequence when asked if I have a Schedule K-1 (Form 1065). Then type in the K-1 information. I have found it is a good idea to switch to "Forms" to confirm that all information is completed in the K-1 form and enter anything that was left off. Then switch back to the question sequence and go on. The K-1 information is automatically entered into Schedule E and any other forms where it is needed.

How do I link my Schedule E for Royaltie to my K-1 on TT?

On my K-1,  We have no property in California, but in my Cal return, in the checking area, I get an error that says " Link to Schedule E".  The owner of the K-1 is also not shown properly on this page, but is correct everywhere else.  I have no way of getting past this.

I may have done something wrong initially, but can't see where I erred. HELP!

To clarify, does this K1 report rental or royalty activity? Also, is K1 from a partnership, S-Corp or a trust?
