How do I get from a 1099 request to a Schedule C-EZ ? I am entering in all income and this is a new small business - all that's being offered is filling out a 1099

Obviously - I don't have a 1099 so what do I do?

I think you are saying that you do have some income, only that income isn't being reported to you on a 1099-MISC.

If that's correct then simply enter income "as if" you did receive a 1099-MISC, or 1099-MISC's.  DO NOT WORRY about somehow indicating to the IRS that you've received 1099-MISC's when you really haven't  Absolutely NO DETAIL of the "1099-MISC's" that you enter is transmitted to the IRS in your income tax return.  All the IRS sees is a lump sum of "revenue."

You do have to migrate to the TT Self-Employed product if you intend to enter any expenses; TurboTax has just set it up that way this year.  But, we're told, the C-EZ IS supported by lesser products if you don't enter any expenses.

If you want a full Schedule C it could be cost effective to buy Deluxe in the desktop version as it does support a full Schedule C.
