You should have received a form 1099-INT for interest income from CDs.

In TurboTax Online, you can enter your form 1099-INT by following these steps:

  1. Open your tax return
  2. Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages & Income
  3.  Navigate to the list Income categories
  4. Locate the section Investment and Savings and click on the arrow on the right
  5. Click Start next to Interest on 1099-INT
  6. You can import info from your bank or financial institution or choose to Type it in yourself

If you didn’t get a 1099INT from the bank they might just report the interest when the CD matures, not each year.   If your CD is in a IRA or retirement account you do not report the interest at all.
