How can i remove the form 8888?

If you have not filed the return yet complete the FILE tab step 2 again to make the change.

I only wanted to direct my refund to go to my estimated tax for 2021 but when checking my return for errors it keeps coming up with the 8888 form to complete. I can't get this form to go away to see what else I have to fix in my return. I do not want this form. please help!

Make sure 100% of the 2020 refund is being applied to the 2021 tax year ... if it is then the form 8888 will not be asked for in the FILE tab.

To delete a form in the Online version:
1.Open your return in TurboTax Online, if you're not already signed in.
2.Click My Account (top of screen)
3.Click Tools
4.Under Other helpful link….. click Delete a form
5.Click Delete next to the form you want to Delete
