Here's how you can navigate to enter investment sales for capital gains/losses on Schedule D:

• Log in and open your return ("Take me to my return.")
• Once the return is open click on SEARCH tab in the top right corner.
• Enter schedule d without quotes.
• Choose Jump to schedule d.
• Next screen:   Did you sell any investments in 2016?
• Continue that interview.

Or you can get there the same way by entering 1099-B at the Search tab and choosing Jump to 1099-B.
