are these payments taxed as income in PA

State taxes are assessed in the state that you work in, and the state that you live in.
Typically the state that you work in requires physical presence. If you didn't perform the work in PA and you didn't live in PA, you will not have to pay taxes in PA. The exception to this may be if you have a rental property that generates income in PA.
All income in PA and we are residents
I entered the guaranteed payment for services in the partnership return -- shows up on the K1 but when entered in the 1040 sys, we are NOT charged PA state tax on this income only the partner share of the remaining earnings??
I've checked every entry -- they all appear fine
-- guaranteed payment flows into Fed Income and taxed but does not show up on the PA state return
just a memo note that the Fed return inc a guaranteed payment of X$ but not in taxable income
sorry to bother you on this -- i found the answer on the PA tax website
thanks
Jim
