Where is the best place to enter Foreign Tax Paid from a 1099-DIV for a Trust on the 1041 Form? 

Under tab ‘Deductions / Taxes / Other taxes’ or under tab ‘Other / Other Tax Withholdings / Other Income Tax Withholding’  or is there another place to enter foreign taxes?

To get credit for foreign taxes paid go to:

1. Deductions & Credits
2. Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
3. Select Foreign Taxes
4. Follow the questions
