Is anyone else getting error messages when trying to enter farm income? I have spoken to a rep, cleared all browsing history, deleted my forms completely and started over, tried different browsers, tried different computers, and no resolve!
When I click "yes" that I have farm income, get to the screen where I see my farm name, click the edit button, and a page that says "This is an error". I deleted my farm, try to add it new again, same error.
Now this morning, I can't even get to that page, I click yes that I have farm income and immediately get the error screen.

If you included depreciable assets on your farm return, on Schedule F, that could be causing the experience you see because depreciation has not been finalized. Form errors related to the main form (or Form 1040) may affect the income summary displayed in TurboTax.
We anticipate the depreciation calculations within the software should be updated on or after February 13, 2026. Our tech team is working hard to release the updates before that date.

I haven't included anything because I cannot get to any of the farm information. Do not have any depreciation assets. I cannot enter any information for our farm whatsoever, income, deductions, nothing.
Please clarify what version of TurboTax Online you are using. What operating system? What browser do you use most often? Have you cleared cookies as well as browsing history?

I am using the web version of TurboTax Premium for business owners. I have tried on windows 11 and a Chromebook. I have used Firefox, Edge, and Chrome. I have cleared cache, cookies, history, everything. The turbo tax rep guided me through all of that and had no resolution to offer.
We have tested Schedule F entries in TurboTax Online Premier but are unable to reproduce the experience you have seen. It would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2025" file that is experiencing this issue.

In TurboTax Online, open your return, go to the black panel on the left side of your program and select Tax Tools.
We will then test to see the experience you are having. If we are able to determine the cause, we'll reply here and provide you with a possible resolution.
The turbotax rep did the "cobrowse" option with me so she should have gotten this file.
We don't have access to anything you shared with a phone agent due to confidentiality issues. The only way we can review your return is if it comes as a diagnostic copy with all your personal information removed. I'm having the exact same situation. I've done everything you did as well.
1. not able to add any farm income or expenses.
2. Adding or clicking "edit" on a farm leads to a page that says, "something went wrong"
3. I've cleared cache, cookies, tried Chrome and Safari.
4. I've tried to delete and add farms.
5. I was on a chat with an agent who could see my screen, and they couldn't find anything.
Is this an issue that turbotax is working on fixing?

I gave the agent I was on the phone with the token number, there was still no resolve and everyone I have talked to has been totally bewildered with no advice. After a week of messaging, calling and getting no where, the final agent told me I needed to purchase the TurboTax software and said it would work that way. I am not taking the chance. I have gone with a different company, was done with my taxes in a couple hours with no issues whatsoever, at less than half the price of turbotax. My taxes are now filed and complete. Very doubtful that I will return to TurboTax over this issue, you would think a company so large that makes so much money off of their customers would have tried a little harder to find resolution. There are many others having the same problem.
I am so sorry and I feel your frustration! After two weeks of going back and forth on phone calls that lasted over half an hour each time, I gave up. I tried three different computers and every browser that exists. I hated to go with another company because all of my history is on turbotax but they left me with no choice when they simply offered no resolve and acted like it was my problem to deal with, suggesting that I leave off the farm income at one point!
I'm at that point: so much history and data with Turbotax, but I need to get this done. What company did you end up going with? Thanks for replying!
I used TaxSlayer. Their layout is different, but no issues, errors, or problems!
im having the same problem mine says Sorry Something went wrong. When i talk to agent she told me that i would get an email when fixed and have not seen anything yet. Glad its not just me.
I'm glad they have at least acknowledged that it is an issue for you and not just shrugging it off. I don't know how they could not know that it is a wide spread problem at this point.
