Does Turbotax Self-Employed cover both W2 and 1099?

I was W2 for the first part of the year, and now an independent contractor. So just checking this is the right product for me! Thanks

Yes, TurboTax Self-Employed is exactly what you need.

If using Turbotax online, the SE version is what you need.  It is also the most expensive version.

If you were to purchase Turbotax on a CD or as a download to install on your computer, you would use Home & Business (same product as SE online, but the name is different in the desktop program.)  You could use also Deluxe (desktop) since it has the same forms, although it has less built in guidance and help.  The desktop program is often less expensive than the online program since you can buy it as discount retailers like Staples or Amazon, although there are other trade-offs.
