does my statutory income flow into my nj tax returns before or after deducting my business expenses?

Before since NJ does not recognize statutory. NJ sees w2 and disallows expenses associated with the job. NJ uses box 16 from your w2.

My NJ box 16 is blank so why is my statutory income from my w2 flowing to my NJ tax returns?

Hi Amy, So since my box 16 is blank, should I put a zero on box 16 so I don’t get taxed for the gross pay from statutory employment? Thanks.
