Do you have to input box 16 on w-2 if you don't have state tax or get tips but it does have amount

Please clarify some details on your question.

• What is your home state? 
• Did you work in another state?
• Do you have a state designation in Box 15?  
• Do you have state income taxes withheld in Box 17?
• Does the state income in Box 15 match Box 1?

State is FL no state tax. Box 15 FL. Don't work in another state. Box 16 have a amount but is different what is in Box 1. I don't get tips. And Box 17 is blank

Leave all boxes 15, 16, & 17 BLANK, empty, no spaces.

If you are a Florida resident and did not work in any other states, then boxes 15 thru 20 on the TurboTax W-2 should be left blank (empty).
