Do I have to fill out schedule C for income from online surveys?

I received 2 1099-Misc for filling out online surveys. They are in the same field as my main job, but no connection to my main job. 

Turbotax is calling me an independent contractor and making me fill out a schedule C. Is this necessary? If I call myself a business does it increase my taxes? I had no expenses for doing online surveys, so there is nothing to deduct.

Is this QBI?
