Commercial Real Estate Contractor Paid at Closing

I'm a contractor providing underwriting services on a new commercial loan. I was engaged by the Lender, but my fee was paid at closing by the escrow agent as part of the settlement. Therefore, the fee never passed thru the Lender. I have reported the income, but I haven't received a formal form from any entities for the income. Should I reach out to the escrow agent (i.e. Title Company) to generate this? This is very common with Commercial Real Estate (similar to a broker fee or legal fee). I want to make sure I tie all 1099s (or other forms) out before submitting. Thanks in advance.
