Can I see a Form 1040 as i complete parts of questionnaire?

on desktop versions I could see tax forms the on line system is not showing me tax forms

There is no forms mode in Online TurboTax, but you have a preview mode of limited forms..

You can view a preview of your Form 1040 and Schedules 1-3 for free prior to filing.  Here's how:

• With the return open, click in the left menu column on TAX TOOLS, then TOOLS.
• In the Tools window choose View Tax Summary.
• At the Tax Summary go back to the left menu column and click Preview Form 1040.
• That opens up the Form 1040 Worksheet and Schedules 1-3.

NOTE:    To have full viewing/printing privileges of all forms prior to filing you have to go ahead and pay for your product.   We can tell you how if you wish to do that.  Then you can view/print at any time, but you can't edit directly on the forms like you can in desktop TurboTax.

online does not have that feature. At the end, you can only see a tax summary until any fees are paid

Using TurboTax Online, you can preview your Form 1040 and Schedules 1, 2, and 3 of Form 1040 if they apply to your return.  You can also see a summary version of your state tax return.  Any other forms included as part of your return will be available to view or print after you have paid the TurboTax fee.  

Use these steps to preview your Form 1040:

1. On the left menu, scroll down to Tax Tools.
2. If necessary, click the side arrow and select Tools. 
3. A box will appear in the middle of the screen.
4. Select View Tax Summary.
5. A tax summary will appear.
6. On the left side menu bar select Preview My 1040.
7. This will bring up a copy of your 1040 Tax Return.
8. If you continue to scroll down, Schedules 1, 2, and 3 are available if they are required.
