If you are a sole proprietor or single member LLC that is unincorporated and reporting your business income and expenses on Form 1040 Schedule C, then No you cannot do the Schedule C separate from the Form 1040.

Schedule C and Form 1040 are filed together as your personal tax return.

With the new SALT cap, does this apply? I’m a sole proprietor and filed 1040.
