Yes, if you are using a desktop version of TurboTax then you can enter information directly onto the Form 1040 and other forms needed in your return. However, it is not recommended that you prepare your return using this method. Doing so may cause unintended errors that could either invalidate the accuracy guarantee or prevent electronic filing.

What if I am using the online version? I have the desktop version, but TT talked me into doing it online this year. So I have it all filled out online, but need access to the 1040 to enter something that TT is not set up for.
It is an unusual situation of receiving a housing allowance from my 403b instead of from my ministry. So I have a 1099R that I need to subtract the qualifying housing allowance from the taxable amount box. There is no option for that while working through TT.
@parkerbo The TurboTax online editions do not have direct access to any forms, schedules or worksheets.
That feature is only available with the TurboTax desktop editions using Forms mode.
