Can I elect to not deduct all of my allowed passive activity losses?

For example, if Turbo Tax calculates that I am allowed to claim $2000 in passive activity losses, can I elect to claim only $1000 in losses this year and carryover the remaining passive losses for future years?

No, you must use all that you are eligible to claim.
