Can I delete any reference to a K-1? Turbo Tax is asking for info about a K-1.

I have not had K-1 income for over 5 years.  Turbo Tax is asking for K-1 info and is telling me I can't file until the IRS has updated the form.  How can I eliminate any reference to a K-1 in my return.  Why did I not have this problem last year?

Yes, you can delete the K-1.  I am not sure why it is doing that but we can fix it. 

Open up your tax return if you have not already done so.

1.  At the right upper corner, select Forms 

2.  To your left, you would see a list of all the tax forms and worksheets, scroll down and select Schedule K-1.

3.  While Schedule K-1 appears,  at the bottom of the screen, select Delete Form.
