If spouse and I are owners of our LLC and we meet frequently for dinner to discuss our business , would this be a valid business expenses to write off?
our business is airbnb hosting. The business topics we discuss are related to the operations of our business ( talk about cleaning crew, switching contractors, possible expansion, change in furniture etc).
we both have 2 full time time wage jobs and the only time we find to talk about business is over dinner.
sometimes we go out to dinner and sometimes we order Uber eats. Since we both live busy lives we think knocking out our business over dinner is efficient.
thanks

I think you would have a very hard time convincing an IRS auditor that dinner with your spouse is a business expense. That's quite a stretch.
If you do this, bring a video camera to the audit. I think it would be a winner on AFV.
