Business deductions vs Personal deductions. I entered in equipment and expenses under business expenses. It looks like I am being asked the same questions under personal

My car and expenses related to my business have been added. In  the personal expenses section, it appears that I need to re-enter the same information. Is that correct?

The questions may appear the same, but they are for Employee business expenses, NOT Self-Employed Business expenses.  For example, you worked for ABC company and receive a W2, but you have to drive to clients homes for work.  This would be entered under job-related expenses as an employee in the personal section.

Unlike your business mileage, these expenses are not federally deductible but are deductible for some states.
