I'm using Turbotax 2023 Business to do my business taxes. I have completed the Federal portion and I am attempting to download the State software (55.00). I choose my state (Georgia) and when I continue it keeps telling me "We've hit a slight snag" and Try again. How can I get the software so I can complete my return?

Thanks for replying to my post. I have already tried all of your suggestions more than once. I have cleared my cache in Google Chrome and in Microsoft Edge. I am using a direct download of Turbo Tax Desktop software, I am not using any online version, so I don't understand why clearing my cache and cookies helps anything. I have done the updating several times, originally when I installed the software and also after I deleted and reinstalled it. I never got far enough in my attempts to install on a second computer to even get to the point of updating. I have talked to Customer Service once, but I will call them again as soon as I am at those computers again.
You may need to completely uninstall and reinstall the software and then try downloading your state return again. Please see this link but start at the step that says "If this fix fails" to troubleshoot the issue.
There is a state loop tool at the top of the page, but this is for the 2024 tax program so it will not work on your 2023 program.

I am having the exact same problem. I have been unable to download the state and my return is on hold. Turbotax Customer service not able to help

I was never able to get Turbo Tax to download the Georgia software on the original PC (Windows 10) I was using. I moved my files to a second computer and the software would not install (Font install errors). I moved to a third computer (Window 11) and the software installed but the activation code came back as invalid, even though it worked on the first computer and Intuit showed that it had been activated and registered with that activation code (you are allowed to install the software on 5 computers.) At this point I got on the phone with Turbo Tax Support. I spent over an hour with a person, reinstalling and downloading and installing various apps, attempting to get the Turbo Tax software to work. All to no avail, and then abruptly, we got cut off. And I never heard back from him, even though the first thing he asked me was my phone number in case we got cut off. Out of desperation, I then emailed my seller, explaining everything to them. They immediately sent me a new activation code, I installed the software, activated it, and completed my returns. Thanks, Turbo Tax!
