Trying to use quick employer forms to fill out 1099-NECs. I can fill out all basic info except for the “State”. This box is gray and will not open a drop down menu to select appropriate state. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix?

The Ipad may be the trouble ... try from a regular computer. I have no troubles with the drop down menu.
What entry screen are you on, Business Info, Payee Info, or something else? And are you creating a new form or editing one that was transferred in from last year?
Try logging out and then signing back into your Quick Employer Forms account. Also, try clearing your cache; here are the official instructions for the most popular browsers:
Apple's official support site doesn't appear to contain instructions for clearing the cache in Safari. You can search the Internet for clear Safari cache or similar search terms.
I am on the Payee Info screen trying to create a new form. I was able to edit the forms that transferred from last year with no problems. I have logged out and back in numerous times to no avail. As far as clearing cache, I haven’t found a way to do this since I am going through the TurboTax app on my iPad.
