there are to amounts in the Medicare B Premium box, which one do I enter into the box?

There are two amounts in the Medicare B Premium box on the SSA 1099. One is $22,212.00 and the other is $2,220.00 so which one do I enter in the field for this question?

The first number in Box 3 represents the SSA benefits you received. The smaller number is the total Medicare Part B premiums that were deducted from your payments.

 

If you need extra time, filing an extension by April 15, 2026, moves your submission deadline to October 15. But remember any taxes owed are still due in full by the original April 15 date.
