Question

My LLC (husband/wife, Disregarded entity, 2 schedule Cs) received a K-1 from another LLC trust. Where do I enter it so it shows up on Schedule C?

Only place to enter K-1 is under personal section and not the business section.  As such, it doesn't show up on Schedule C as I think I am supposed to show it.

" As such, it doesn't show up on Schedule C as I think I am supposed to show it."

It is not clear whether you received a K-1 from a partnership (multi-member LLC) or a trust since you wrote "LLC trust".

Regardless, K-1 income that you enter into your personal income tax return will not appear on Schedule C, which form is essentially for sole proprietorships.

If you have a K-1 that is reporting something like net income from self-employment, then most likely a Schedule SE will be generated to calculate self-employment tax, but the income will not appear on Schedule C.

The K1 I received was from a multi member LLC to which my LLC is a member. I was planning to file as a disregarded entity for my husband and wife LLC in CA. My understanding is that I need to file 2 schedule Cs, one for each of us.  So given the K1 was for interest income for my LLC, I am assuming that should go on schedule C. In TT, one can only enter K1 for personal income. So the question is how to enter for business and whether one needs to send copy of K1 with the files return. Thanks.
