Becoming a self-published author has gained me freedom to do the things I truly enjoy doing and also frees up my time to take new courses to help me improve the skills I already have! This does affect my financial implications because now I fall under self-employed which can be a bit tricky to navigate, and learning how to include business expenses and other things that are necessary to run my business.
