Thanks to the turbo tax application, the community, and live help, I was able to file my returns confidently. There is a lot of valuable information available in the community threads.
Feedback for the Turbo tax team to make this awesome product better:
1. The software/web application did not read certain fields in the uploaded form correctly. I would suggest that after the user uploads the form, the application should ask users to double-check each field that has a value. It is easy to miss for users (while also improving the logic to read the values). 2. I switched from mail to e-file, but needed a workaround to do that. When I printed my return documents, I still had the option to go back and e-File (I did not click on - I'm Done on the last page). When I logged in the next day, the option was gone, I couldn't go back and choose e-file. I had to work around it by selecting "Add State tax" 3. Live expert/help option is great! This is the first time I was filing my IRS return and had a lot of questions about what needed to be done in certain situations. However, there were instances where I received mixed information from different experts.
