We have had many struggles financially not just because of COVID but many unfortunate events almost cost is our home. We have 3 wonderful children who have no idea what mom and dad do to provide. After both of us finding ourselves unemployed due and with out childcare in 2020, we vowed 2021 would be better. It was but it came with a lot of work and no fun. The kid's have had their normal turned upside down with the back and forth of e learning/COVID restrictions etc. I would use the $100 to do something fun for our kids.... Whatever they picked. 🥰

My 2022 goals are to stick to our budget the best we can. I have started an emergency account (lesson learned from not having in 2020), also investing in my IRA more than the minimum. I am working closely with our teenager to teach her responsibility with money as well of the value of working for the things you want and the difference in want and need. I have started investing for the kids in my Acorns acct. I have to say overall that one of my biggest financial goals for 2022 is to not allow financial matters steal our joy.
