"You have Schedule 1, Additional Income and Adjustments to Income, and that's just one of the reasons the IRS requires you to file Form 1040" I don't! How do I fix this?

Form 1040 has been redesigned for 2018. The Forms 1040A and 1040EZ are no longer being used. As much, there are also six new schedules that may need to be filed depending on what type of income and deductions you have. Please view page 6 in the link below for more information about these 2018 changes.
