@Gunny-W "accepted" means the IRS is in receipt of you tax return.  It does not mean it has been reviewed or approved.  Check the WMR tool on the IRS website for current status.

Once your refund goes past the 21 day expected window,

your refund is in limbo waiting for something but nobody to know what it is.

You may get a notice six months from now, asking you to supply more information, and to wait again.

That's the status of my 2024 refund.
