You guys are saying i requested paper check?

I filed on feb 12 it was accepted by irs feb 15 and via irs website directly deposit on mar4 BUT Im still waiting & per "my expert" i requested paper check? But I didn't. I have the documents that I signed with my account information on it. WHY and WHO and WHY is it showing my refund is paper check?

Has this happened to anyone else? My first year using TT and at first i was confident but not so sure anymore.

There are certain situations where a paper check is mailed.  Per the IRS,

Q: I requested a direct deposit refund. Why are you mailing it to me as a paper check?
There are three possible reasons. They are as follows:

• We can only deposit refunds electronically into accounts in your own name, your spouse's name or in a joint account.
• A financial institution may reject a direct deposit.
• We can’t deposit more than three electronic refunds into a single financial account.

The IRS also has a direct deposit dollar limit (which they do not disclose).  Please contact your TT Expert for more information.

I have the same account ive had for years in my own name(that ive had for years and always get my refund into)  im NOT getting more than 3 electronic refunds.  None of these apply to me....

So if i chose to have my taxes paid directly out of my refund , the irs send check to your bank and then your bank cuts me a check?? Via irs website its been deposited.
