I need to adjust my 2016 return. I forgot to claim a dependent as we as some work deductions. Is this possible limited to a mobile device?

You can no longer work on your 2016 tax return on a mobile device. The mobile device uses TurboTax Online, which is only for the current tax year. The current year is now 2017.

If you already filed your 2016 tax return and it was accepted and processed, then you have to file an amended return, Form 1040X, to make the corrections. To file an amended return for 2016 you would use the amendment software, which can only run on a Windows or Mac computer, not on a mobile device.

If you have not filed your 2016 tax return, to continue working on it and make the changes you would have to use the CD or download TurboTax software, which also can only run on a Windows or Mac computer, not on a mobile device.
