Explain my refund? I got my state and federal, but still haven't gotten my child credit, why?

Your child tax credit is included in your federal return. You can print and check your tax return to verify if your child tax credit was included.

I did not receive it in my federal?  I only got my federal refund.. very confused

Your child tax credit is not separate from your federal return it will be included in your federal refund you will not get a separate refund for child tax credit.

Thats so weird I only got 422$ back!

You can amend your return if you don't see your child tax credit applied.
Please read the step by step instructions on how to amend your return:
 1.Sign into your TurboTax account, if you're not already signed in.
  2.In the 2016 tax year section, click amend (change) return.
  3. In the pop-up, click amend using TurboTax online.
  4.Click continue on the we'll help you change (amend) your return screen.
  5.Follow the on-screen directions to amend your return.
  6.When you're done, will provide instructions to print and mail your amended return because and amended return can't be e-filed.
