The deduction expired at the end of 2016, and was only reinstated by Congress a few days ago.  It will likely take 2-4 weeks for the IRS to prepare new forms and instructions and reprogram their computers, and to then authorize tax software providers to update their own software.  We have no official time table yet.  You can wait, or file without the deduction and amend later.

If you already filed, you can check back in a month or so to see if the amending software is ready for PMI.

Until both houses of Congress pass the budget bill and the President signs the legislation nothing has been changed.

If & when that happens you will need to amend the return only after you have received your original refund.
