Will someone tell me why the Child Tax Credit isn’t showing up on my refund, even though it says I’m eligible for it? I got it last year, working at my current job.

I got the credit last year while working at the same job I’m currently at but it’s not showing up on this year’s refund.

Have you entered your income on your tax return? 

Did you include your dependent in the My Info section of the program?

Was your income from work $2,500 or more in 2023?

Please doublecheck to see if you are due the CTC. Go to the IRS Interactive Assistant: Does my child/dependent qualify for the child tax credit or the credit for other dependents?

This may tell you why you are having a difficulty.
