Once the IRS releases your refund to your bank, it can take an additional 24-48 hours before the bank makes the funds available to you.

I would recommend contacting your bank and asking if they show any pending deposits from the Department of Treasury.

It says the IRS released the refund on March 5th and it is already March 12th with no deposit into my account.

Have you tried calling your bank?  You may also want to confirm the bank account information listed on your return (routing and account numbers).

You can also try calling the IRS. IRS representatives will be able to research the status of your refund.  The number to call is 1-800-829-1040, but prepare yourself for potentially long wait times.
