Did you ask her for a copy? We don't know what your situation is--married, separated, etc. and whether the 2017 and 2018 return are joint returns, married filing separately, etc. Or if you recently married and wife was single when she filed 2017 and 2018. There are a lot of possibilities.
In any case, do not have her email you a copy of the PDF. Email is not a secure method of transmission of such sensitive documents.

You can see if your attorney can get it from her, or demanding it through her attorney.
Are these joint returns? If you qualify to open an IRS account, you can download free transcripts at the IRS website. Otherwise, to order a transcript to come by postal mail takes 5-10 calendar days. Full copies of the returns from the IRS costs $50 each and takes several weeks.
