That sound pretty odd. Are you sure it is not just asking you if you want to transfer your 2019 data into your 2020 return?
It tells me that it will be transferring/copying my data.....then when I hit continue, it takes me to the completion page of my 2019 taxes.
Guess you will need customer support on Monday

Thank you for the phone #.
I am soooo frustrated. Still can't start my 2020 taxes online. I keep getting taken to my completed 2019 taxes. AND....when I try calling, I'm told I can't talk to a real person without paying $35 to upgrade Turbotax. Anyone else having these problems. It is not only our account & also my son's. I have cleared History & Cookies on my laptop computer.

Thanks, but that # gives me the same option.....have to upgrade for $35.
I am going to try reaching them from their FB page. Thank you.
That is very unusual for it not to let you start a 2020 return. Can you post a screen shot where it is stuck? And you said it's in both your and your son's accounts? You each have your own separate account right? Did you try logging in from another computer or clearing your history and cache? Reboot your computer?
Yes, we both have separate accounts. I have cleared & restarted the computer. But, let me try from Hubby's laptop. Thank you.
Well, using hubby's laptop didn't help. I get the login menu, A welcome back for our 8th year screen....then says we are inporting the data....of which none of the categories change....I hit continue & it take me to the 2019 completed screen about our refund.
