Why is my amended tax return not showing up on turbotax? Also, why did the IRS still pull the $$ amount from my bank from the original returns, when they’re now amended?

When you prepare an 1040X amended return, it assumes that your original return has already been fully processed, and any taxes due were paid (or a refund issued).

Amended returns take about 16 weeks to process, and only deal with changes from your original return. Did you actually do a 1040X, or just makes changes to your TT file?
