Maybe you are waiting for some forms. Click Review to see if you are missing some forms needed in order to e-file.
Many federal and state forms are not yet available. Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.
Be patient.
IF you e-file now, your return will go into “pending” until the IRS starts to accept/reject returns in late January. You cannot make any changes while the return is on the server. The IRS will start to accept/reject 2025 e-files on January 26. And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.

Otherwise, please provide the exact error message. And what state are you trying to file?
Same error message received on January 27, 2026 @ 15:00 CST...
Apparently TT has a problem, since IRS ostensibly began accepting returned yesterday - January 26th?
... and Minnesota began accepting returns on the same day as the IRS: January 26, 2026....
Despite displaying "success", for the second time this error message was received:
I am having the same issue as well.

Please reassure me that - as a senior citizen subsisting on a Social Security disability income, who has unfailingly purchased your tax software since the days of MacInTax - this isn’t because (for the first time ever) I took advantage of your free filing option, rather than purchasing a product I didn’t need to, and couldn’t afford?
I can reassure you that this is something that is actively being investigated to resolve your experience. Can you tell me if you are working on a Mac or PC?
I was able to figure this out!
It appears that the issue is the M1PR property tax form. I was filing Federal, MN State, and the Property tax form all at once. What I did, was instead of choosing to E-File when the option came up, I chose the other option instead, then I was able to mark my State and Property tax forms as "file later". When I transmitted just the Federal form it worked without issue. Then I went back and just selected the MN state return (leaving the property tax form as "file later"), and that transmitted without issue as well.
Now with both the Fed and State tax forms transmitted successfully, if I try to just transmit the property tax form, it still gives the "2025 transmissions are not available" message. I am assuming MN is not actually accepting these forms yet, even though it says it is ready to e-file here https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product...
Attempted once again to e-File, and - despite the "success!" message displayed - I continue to received this follow-up message displayed on my screen:
"Your transmission didn't go through
2020 iMac retina 5k, 27" running OS 14.8.3 (Sonoma).... MacInTax should've been your first clue (ha-ha)!
Any chance TT can reach out to MN DOR and clarify, please?
Thanks!
Oh yes, I did know that for you, I didn't or don't for some of the others. Did you try @rockstarrobbie311 solution and only filing the federal?
