Why is it taking so long to approve my taxes

There could be several reasons why the IRS and/or your state has not approved them yet. The best thing to do is to call the IRS and/or your state and speak to a tax representative. They will be able to look at your taxpayer account and let you know what is going on, how long it can take, and what, if anything else they need from you.

Unfortunately the IRS and/or the state do not share information with Turbo Tax for security reasons once the returns have been submitted.
