Why haven't I gotten my unemployment refund yet? Filed single claimed fiance but did not claim any children

The IRS started sending checks in the end of May and will continue over the next 2-3 months in batches.

Thank you. I know they started but I was asking if they've started why haven't I received it yet

The IRS has a backlog of 13 MILLION returns in a department that normally only handles a few thousand returns per year so things are going to take a while to process all of them so you will just need to be patient.  Complain to your  congress person  for this late change in the tax law.
